The Rule 500 GPH Automatic Bilge Pump automatically removes water from the engine compartment without the use of a float switch. Cycles every 2 1/2 minutes to check for water. NOTE: We suggest using an on/off switch with this bilge pump so that it can be shut off when the watercraft is not in use. Without the use of an on/off switch, the pump will continue to cycle on every 2 1/2 minutes, which may cause unwanted drainage of the battery.
