Order Damage or Defective Claim Form

If an item arrives damaged in transit or appears to have a defect in materials or workmanship, Atlantic Jet Sports will assist you in filing a claim with the appropriate shipping carrier or manufacturer. All concerns regarding damage, defects, or workmanship must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. After this period, we will not be responsible for any issues.

Form Instructions

1. Identify the Type of Issue

Determine whether your claim is related to shipping damage, non‑shipping damage, or a product defect.

  • Inspect all items immediately upon delivery
  • Compare the condition of the package and product
  • Select the correct issue type on the claim form

2. If Damage Was Caused by the Shipping Carrier - Carrier Damage

Carrier‑caused damage must be documented quickly so we can file a claim with the shipping company.

  • Photograph the shipping box, labels, packing materials, and all damaged areas
  • Keep all packaging until the claim is resolved
  • Submit your claim within 48 hours of delivery
  • Provide a clear description of how the damage appears to have occurred during transit

3. If Damage Was NOT Caused by the Shipping Carrier - Non‑Carrier Damage

Use this option when the product is damaged but the shipping box shows no signs of carrier mishandling.

  • Photograph the product from multiple angles
  • Include images showing the undamaged shipping box
  • Describe the condition of the item upon opening
  • Submit your claim within 48 hours of delivery

4. If the Item Is Defective in Material or Workmanship - Defective Item

Defects are issues related to manufacturing, components, or workmanship rather than shipping.

  • Photograph the defect clearly (close‑ups and full‑item shots)
  • Describe the functional issue (e.g., not operating, incorrect fitment, electrical failure)
  • Include any diagnostic steps you attempted
  • Submit your claim as soon as the defect is discovered

5. Upload Required Evidence

Providing complete documentation ensures your claim is processed without delay.

  • Upload all photos requested in the form
  • Attach videos if the issue involves performance or operation
  • Include your order number, contact information, and item SKU

6. Submit the Claim Form

Once all information is complete, submit the form for review.

  • Ensure all fields are filled out accurately
  • Confirm that your photos and files uploaded correctly
  • Submit the form and retain your confirmation email

7. Await Review by Atlantic Jet Sports

Our Customer Service Team reviews all claims in the order received.

  • Claims are reviewed within 24 hours (excluding weekends and holidays)
  • Additional information may be requested if documentation is incomplete
  • You will be notified of the next steps once the review is complete
